Gabrielle Campbell is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Psychology and National Centre for Youth Substance Use Research, University of Queensland and an adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, UNSW.  In 2012, she established and coordinated the Pain and Opioids IN Treatment (POINT) study, a prospective cohort of 1500 people over 5 years, a world-first study examining the benefits and outcomes of pharmaceutical opioids for chronic non-cancer pain. Gabrielle’s PhD focused on suicide-related behaviours and problematic opioid use in people prescribed opioids for chronic non-cancer pain. Gabrielle is a previous National Health and Medical Research Council Early Career Research Fellowship recipient (2017-2021, #1119992) at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, University of New South Wales.
